suppose 一詞的用法很靈活，在高考中常以不同的面目出現。這里對 suppose 的用法進行歸納總結。
1. suppose 意為“認為，猜測”，后常接“賓語+賓語補足語”形式。
① suppose sb./sth. to have done 的結構。

6. suppose 可用于簡略答語中，用 so 代替一個肯定的賓語從句;用 not 代替一個否定的賓語從句。

7. suppose 可用于插入語中。
