初次見面，一般采用握手的禮節。握手者雙目注視對方，微笑，問候，致意，不要看第三者或顯得心不在焉。除了關系親近的人可以長久地把手握在一起外，一般都是握一下即可。上下級之間，上級伸手后，下級才能接握;主人與客人之間，主人宜主動伸手;男女之間，女方伸手后，男方才能伸手相握;當然，如果男方為長者，則遵照前面所說的方法。
