英語要求
新西蘭大學本科課程一般的英語要求為雅思6.0，比如商科、文科、工程、建筑、自然科學等專業(yè);有些專業(yè)的雅思要求稍高，如護理(雅思6.5)，教育(雅思7分)等。學生如果可以獲得相應(yīng)的雅思成績，可以直接入讀本科課程;如果沒有滿足雅思要求，可以去新西蘭大學下屬的語言學院進行語言課程的培訓，滿足一定要求后，可以進入本科階段學習。
學歷要求
國內(nèi)學生想要直接入讀新西蘭大學本科一年級的話，需要滿足在國內(nèi)正規(guī)大學本科完成大一課程;或國內(nèi)正規(guī)大專完成大二課程。國內(nèi)高二/高中畢業(yè)生，想要入讀大學本科之間，必須先讀大學的預(yù)科課程(7-18個月不等的時間)，完成預(yù)科課程并滿足一定的條件，方可進入本科階段學習。國內(nèi)大專畢業(yè)學生如果國內(nèi)所學的專業(yè)和去新西蘭大學將要學的專業(yè)相同或相似的話，可以申請減免學分，本科所需讀的時間將相應(yīng)縮短。
資金要求
新西蘭大學本科課程的學費一般在每年20，000-25，000紐幣之間，不同學校不同專業(yè)的學費都有所差別。新西蘭留學每年的生活費(包括住宿、交通和餐費)約12，000紐幣。因此，去新西蘭大學讀本科的學生家庭準備好15-18萬元人民幣/年的資金。
